Consumer Guide to Dentistry served more than 436,000 unique visitors during the first four months of 2009, a 64% increase over the same period last year. New and popular articles such as “Teeth Whitening: How it Works and What it Costs” helped drive the traffic growth.
The top five cosmetic dentistry articles covered topics including veneers, cosmetic dentistry, at-home teeth whitening and smile makeovers. The site’s fastest growing dentistry articles were those on TMJ (up 253%), tooth pain (up 119%), dentures (up 113%) and choosing a dentist (up 75%). Other site features of increasing popularity included the Cosmetic Dentist Directory and the Before-And-After Smile Gallery.
