Ceatus Media Group exhibited at the recent AACD meeting in Dallas from April 27 to 30. Cosmetic dentists who visited the booth were most interested in two Ceatus services: being listed in the Consumer Guide to Dentistry and SEO (search engine optimization) programs for their practice websites. Consumer Guide to Dentistry now has more than 80 dentists listed in 70 markets across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. The site provides an array of articles related to oral health, including information about wisdom tooth extraction and TMJ symptoms, as well as cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as veneers. The portal helps consumers to learn about these topics and then find a dentist.

Emmanuel, Sheppard & Condon Represent Victims of the BP Oil Spill
Monday, May 17th, 2010An estimated 210,000 gallons a day has spilled into the Gulf of Mexico following the explosion of a BP oil rig on April 20, which killed 11 workers and critically injured three. So far, based on this estimate, more than 5.5 million gallons have now spilled into the gulf, creating a potential ecological and economic catastrophe.
New reports reveal that the spill may be worse than originally thought. Researchers have discovered enormous plumes of oil deep under water — one of which is reportedly 10 miles in length, 3 miles wide and 300 feet deep. The discovery of these plumes suggests that the spill rate may be much higher than the original estimate of 210,000 gallons per day and that the ecological results could be even more devastating than had been feared.
On May 16, BP successfully inserted a pipe into the well and began collecting some of the oil and pumping it to a ship on the surface. However, the company admits that this is a stopgap measure, and many scientists fear that despite this progress, the damage has already been done.
President Barack Obama has repeatedly stated that BP is responsible for stopping the flow of oil, cleaning up the mess and compensating the victims, including those whose livelihoods will be affected by the short- and long-term consequences of the spill, such as the fishing and tourism industries. BP has stated that it will pay all legitimate claims related to the disaster.
