Ceatus Sponsors Internet Marketing Education at ASAPS
Friday, May 21st, 2010Ceatus Media Group, the leader in online marketing for plastic surgeons, has begun offering educational seminars for cosmetic surgery practices. During the ASAPS meeting (April 23 to 26), Ceatus provided two sponsored lunch presentations about Internet marketing, which included a description of the important components for an effective website and how to make the site easily found by consumers on Google. Most surgeons in attendance were interested in how to get their websites ranked for specific local search terms, such as when a consumer combines his or her location, such as New York or Chicago, with a procedure, such as breast augmentation or rhinoplasty. After each presentation, Ceatus staff offered free website evaluations to help surgeons better understand how their sites can be optimized for Google.
Q1 Plastic Surgery Traffic Way Up
Thursday, April 8th, 2010During the first quarter of 2010, the number of visitors to Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery surged dramatically, increasing 45 percent compared to Q1 2009 (789,267 in Q1 2010 vs 545,572 in Q1 2009). The sections about breast surgery, including topics such as breast augmentation with implants, breast lift and breast reduction, continue to be the most popular, accounting for more than a third of the page views by website visitors. Other new articles about topics such as Botox Vs Dysport and Latisse treatment also garnered significant traffic.

This website, now among the most widely visited online sources of information about cosmetic plastic surgery, has detailed sections about breast surgery, body contouring, hair loss, facial surgery and injectables. The most visited articles relate to breast augmentation, liposuction, breast lift and Botox injections. Ceatus Media Group, who owns and operates the web portal, projects the traffic growth in 2010 to exceed 30%, just as in 2009.
