Plastic Surgery Traffic Hits Record in Q2

The number of unique visitors to Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery surged to a new record during Q2 2010. More than 800,000 consumers visited the site to learn about all aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery and how to find a plastic surgeon. The most visited pages in the site continue to be those related to surgery for breast augmentation and breast implants.  Other types of plastic surgery procedures, such as liposuction (lipoplasty), continue to attract considerable consumer interest, as well as non-invasive procedures, such as Botox injections.

Ceatus Unveils Breast Implants 4 You

At the recent ASAPS meeting in Washington DC, Ceatus Media Group unveiled the newest addition to its portfolio of health and beauty oriented websites, Breast Implants 4 You. This site provides comprehensive information about all aspects of breast augmentation surgery, including information about breast augmentation recovery and breast implants cost, as well as photo gallery for breast implants before and after photos. This site was acquired from My Choice Medical Holdings in Dec 2009 and now has a new look and updated surgeon-reviewed content. Breast Implants 4 You is the sister publication to Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery, which provides a wide range of information about all aspects of plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancement procedures, including liposuction, Botox injections and butt implants.

Ceatus Sponsors Internet Marketing Education at ASAPS

Ceatus Media Group, the leader in online marketing for plastic surgeons, has begun offering educational seminars for cosmetic surgery practices. During the ASAPS meeting (April 23 to 26), Ceatus provided two sponsored lunch presentations about Internet marketing, which included a description of the important components for an effective website and how to make the site easily found by consumers on Google. Most surgeons in attendance were interested in how to get their websites ranked for specific local search terms, such as when a consumer combines his or her location, such as New York or Chicago, with a procedure, such as breast augmentation or rhinoplasty.  After each presentation, Ceatus staff offered free website evaluations to help surgeons better understand how their sites can be optimized for Google.

During the first quarter of 2010, the number of visitors to Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery surged dramatically,  increasing 45 percent compared to Q1 2009 (789,267 in Q1 2010 vs 545,572 in Q1 2009). The sections about breast surgery, including topics such as breast augmentation with  implants, breast lift and breast reduction,  continue to be the most popular, accounting for more than a third of the page views by website visitors. Other new articles about topics such as Botox Vs Dysport and Latisse treatment also garnered significant traffic.

Dr Antell Joins Plastic Surgery Advisory Board

Dr Derrick Antell, a noted board-certified plastic surgeon from New York City, has joined the advisory board for Consumer Guide to Plastic Surgery. Dr. Antell is trained both as a surgeon and a dentist and is widely recognized for his expertise in cosmetic medicine. He has reviewed several articles for the publication, including those about jaw implants and cheek implants, and helps to guide the content for other sections, such as breast augmentation and abdominoplasty. Ceatus Introduces New Websites About Houston Plastic Surgery

Ceatus Media Group recently completed the acquisition of 23 websites, formerly owned by My Choice Medical Holdings, with information related to cosmetic and plastic surgery. These websites provide comprehensive articles about a wide range of aesthetic enhancement procedures, including facelift, rhinoplasty and eyelid surgery, as well as details about procedure cost, such as about the cost of breast implants. Ceatus plans to expand the content in these sites and offer directories for cosmetic and plastic surgeons who would like to connect with consumers who have an interest in these procedures.
